World of Quantum on the Road
Quantum Meets Industry
Quantum technology opens up new possibilities and makes many processes more precise, secure and faster. World of Quantum is specifically targeting the user fairs of quantum technology to draw attention to the solutions that quantum technology already has up its sleeve.
WoQ@electronica: Quantum Computing in Practice
The World of Quantum roadshow is making another stop at electronica: From November 10 to 13, 2026, we will be in Munich with our own World of Quantum booth.
Hall C3, Booth 500
How can quantum computing already be used commercially today? Together with our co-exhibitor Munich Quantum Valley, we will showcase the potential of quantum technologies for industry.
In addition, 42de will provide insights into specific use cases in workforce scheduling, logistics, and robotics—demonstrating measurable benefits in speed, efficiency, and resilience. Take the opportunity to discuss your own use cases, challenges, and the potential of quantum computing for industrial applications with the experts.
Meet 42de at our booth from Tuesday to Thursday, 11:00 to 13:00.
Visit us at electronica—we look forward to meeting you!
Looking Back: Past Roadshows
WoQ@analytica
The World of Quantum roadshow continues: From March 24 to 27, 2026, at analytica in Munich, the World's Leading Trade Fair for Laboratory Technology, Analysis, and Biotechnology, there will once again be a dedicated World of Quantum stand.
Hall B2, Booth 234
Discover how quantum technology is changing the world of laboratories. The Quantum Advantage: Unmatched sensitivity, accelerated discovery, and high-resolution imaging. You can learn about this and much more at our booth and in our forum program.
Forum session at analytica: Industrial Optimization in the Quantum Era
Date: March 27, 2026
Time: 12:00 – 13:00
Location: Digital Transformation Forum (B2.137)
Industrial Optimization in the Quantum Era
Speaker: Giuseppe Gullo, Jörg (42de), Weiser, Max (Kvantify), Heaberlein (IQM)
Moderator: Jakob von Moers (42de)
Quantum computing is often perceived as a future technology—powerful in theory, but still distant from real-world application. This perception is rapidly becoming outdated. In this session, we aim to demonstrate that quantum computing is no longer confined to research labs, but is beginning to deliver tangible value in industrial contexts today.
The key is not to view quantum computing in isolation. Real impact emerges when it is combined with existing technologies such as artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. This integrated approach allows complex industrial problems—previously considered intractable—to be addressed more effectively. Bringing together perspectives across the stack, the session features contributions from hardware (IQM), algorithm development (Kvantify), and orchestration (42de). Each speaker will provide a focused 10-minute impulse, followed by a joint panel discussion.
We will explore concrete application domains such as materials and battery development, workforce scheduling, and large-scale optimization problems, highlighting where hybrid quantum-classical approaches are already showing measurable improvements. In many industrial settings, inefficiencies of 5–15% still persist—creating significant economic potential when addressed with more advanced computational methods. Beyond showcasing use cases, the session focuses on a central question: how can organizations move from experimentation to adoption?
Participants will gain insights into:
- where quantum computing can already create value today
- how to integrate it into existing IT and data landscapes
- what architectural approaches enable scalable deployment
- and how to assess real business impact and ROI.
12:00 Ecosystem Perspective (Max Heaberlein, IQM)
12:10 Applied Use Case – Industry Applications (Jörg Weiser, Kvantify)
12:20 Industrial Optimization via Polycomputing & BayBatt Use Case (Giuseppe Gullo, 42de)
12:30 Panel Discussion (Moderation: Jakob von Moers, Panel participants: Giuseppe Gullo, Jörg Weiser, Max Haeberlein)
WoQ@productronica
Of course, World of Quantum was also present at productronica 2025 with a forum session: Quantum computing meets electronics development and production.
Lectures on November 20, 2025:
- Fundamentals of Quantum Computing: Theory, Technology, Roadmap, Funding, and Sovereignty (Dr. Carsten Blank, Co-Founder & Managing Director, data cybernetics ssc GmbH)
- Quantum Ecosystem Germany: An ITWM Perspective on Collaboration and Innovation (Dr. Sabine Müller, Competence Center High Performance Computing, Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics)
WoQ@transport logistic
The World of Quantum Roadshow continued: From the June 2 - 5, 2025 at transport logistic in Munich, the world's leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management, once again had their own World of Quantum stand.
How can quantum technology make logistics more efficient and secure?
Thanks to the enormous computing power of quantum computers, complex route optimizations, for example, can be calculated in real time, resulting in more efficient transport routes and lower costs. Warehouse management also benefits from more precise forecasts and improved inventory optimization. In addition,
quantum cryptography enables secure data transmission, which increases cyber security in global supply chains. You could find out more about this and much more at our booth and in our forum program.
